THE OCEAN EYES WON "HONORABLE MENTION" AT THE BLUE OCEAN FİLM FESTIVAL
Ocean Eyes is a short documentary looking through the eyes of two marine biologists and a fisherman who speak for our oceans today. They describe their own love of the ocean and how it has influenced their lives. They speak of the negative changes that they have noticed in the ocean due to modern society. Our oceans are a mystical world that fuels the imagination. Simple steps to reduce litter can make a dramatic impact.
Collaborating with peers all over the world, we combined our passion for film with the desire to bring about changes in our oceans. Over the course of a few months we planned, shot, and edited all of our footage to make this documentary. Footage is included from New York City, France, Turkey, Australia, The Philippines, Antarctica, South Africa and Florida. By coming together and using our talent and resources we were able to share our perspectives and opinions on how the ocean effects us all. We think this is the driving vision of FoST. Create. Connect. Collaborate.
